As a passionate advocate for holistic wellness and restorative balance, I am dedicated to helping individuals restore balance and strengthen their mind-body connection in a safe, inclusive space.
My academic journey began with a Bachelor's Degree of Fine Arts in Fashion/Textile Design from Kent State University. Although my career initially led me into the world of creativity and design, I felt a profound calling to explore the healing arts of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM). This led me to pursue a B.P.S. in Health Science and Masters in Acupuncture at New York College of Traditional Chinese Medicine. I am certified by the NCCAOM and licensed by the Medical State Board of Ohio.
In my practice, I take an integrative approach, using TCM to provide personalized care that considers mental, physical, social, spiritual, and environmental factors. I bridge the foundations in Traditional Chinese Medicine with Balance System Acupuncture and Reiki energy work.
As a level 2 practitioner, I have trained with Trained with Shīfu 师父/師父 Dr. Sonia F. Tan, BA, BA(H), DTCM Dip, DAOM, RAc, RTCMP, a second-generation Chinese Metaphysician, who has followed in the footsteps of her grandfather, the late Woon-Yew Tan and is a 2nd generation of this method. Dr. Sonia F. Tan also trained with and is certified under Dr. Richard Teh-fu Tan as a Ba Zi Astrology Practitioner.
Although Reiki is not in the scope of my acupuncture license, it is an effective adjunct modality in treatments and can be requested as an add on. I have trained under Theresa Panik LMT, ERYT, CMRT, CKHFRM & Certified Reiki Master as a Advanced Level Reiki Practitioner under the lineage of Usui Tibetan Reiki.
My goal is to share this profound medicine, empowering others to incorporate it into daily life for lasting health and well-being.
